Abdulaziz Suliman Joharji,
From an early age, I was immersed in the world of business, accompanying my father to our family’s jewelry shop—a legacy that has been passed down through generations. My father recognized certain qualities in me, such as fairness, contentment, equality, and justice, and he nurtured these traits, shaping me into the person I am today.
Under my father’s guidance, I learned the value of hard work and the importance of understanding a business from the ground up. His philosophy, inherited from my grandfather, was to develop the next generation by fostering their strengths while ensuring they gained a comprehensive understanding of the business—without shortcuts or exceptions. This meant starting from the bottom, working as a cleaner, and gradually climbing the ladder to managing and expanding the business, all under his watchful supervision.
One pivotal lesson from my father came when I questioned why I was given opportunities to lead the business while others with more experience were not. His response was profound: “Opportunities come around all the time—either you take them, or you lose them. This is life.” At first, this seemed to contradict the values he had instilled in me, particularly the idea that we create our own opportunities. However, he explained that life is not governed by a single standard. Instead, it requires us to consider multiple perspectives, measure all factors, and find the best fit for each situation. This lesson taught me that there is no absolute right or wrong—only perspectives and observations.
This mindset transformed my love for mathematics into a passion for technology, giving me a unique perspective in the field. It also allowed me to work across various industries, breaking boundaries and embracing opportunities without regret, as long as I learned from each experience.
Today, I look back on my journey with pride. I have successfully contributed to the digital transformation of numerous companies, from well-established organizations to startups. I have worked alongside incredible teams to rebuild and restructure businesses, and I have played a key role in saving companies from the brink of failure.
My story is one of perseverance, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth. I believe in creating opportunities, learning from every experience, and striving to make a meaningful impact in every endeavor I undertake.
